And of course what would a trip to San Antonio be without the Riverwalk and some Mexican food.
Our anniversary happened to fall on Sunday so we took advantage of a rare and wonderful opportunity to have a night out.

I don't think either Nanny or Will minded as they got to spend some quality time together. The entire weekend Josh and I were pretty much useless because he wanted Nanny to do everything with him. She even got to sleep in his bed with him which he loved. He has the most comfortable bed in the house and whenever we ask to lay down with him he says " no, it's for Nanny." He is definitely a Nanny's boy. He kept telling her all weekend " Nanny, I'm so glad you're here with me today" and cupping her face he would say "Nanny, I love you!" She would have froze in that moment if she could have.
On Sunday morning, they woke up and started making biscuits. Will was a good "helper" and got to eat his finished product. Yummy!

Later that day, Josh got some instruction on how to make strawberry freezer jam. Now if only we could make the biscuits to go along with it. We can try but somehow they just don't taste the same.
As always, we enjoyed her visit so much and were sad to see her go but the next time she comes back we will have another grandbaby for her to enjoy. We can't wait!
