Will's birthday week

Will had about 4 different birthday celebrations. We had his "early birthday" in Tucson, his birthday party, his actual birthday, and then cupcakes with his school friends. I am worn out from all the baking but we had a blast. Nanny and Poppa came in for the celebration and to spend the week with us. We stayed really busy with the birthday party, Josh's triathlon, decorating the house, working, Nanny's birthday and playing with the kids. We enjoyed their visit so much and can't wait to see them again. Thanks for celebrating with us!

Here are some pictures from our week:

He got a pirate ship, a reversible SpiderMan costume, a SpiderMan scooter, a batcave, and a whole bunch of other stuff. We had to clean out the playroom the next day to make room for it all.

Will's actual birthday on Monday spent with Mommy and Daddy at the "museum with real animals"

Celebrating Nanny's birthday with her on Friday

Amelia singing Happy Birthday (anytime we'd say it she would just drop her mouth open) I think after a week of celebrating birthdays she knew that once she heard those words, there would be cake!

Our family room just days before we moved in. I tried to get a "before" picture but the painters were too fast. The walls in this room were all white and there were floral swag curtains on all the windows so you have to use your imagination. Now after a new couch delivery and a week of scouting all the local stores for the right pieces our family room is complete. It is so cozy and comfortable. It's exactly what we wanted. Thanks Nanny for all the help. It was really fun! Now on to the master bedroom for your next visit!

My absolute favorite moment of the week came at dinner the night after Will's party. Nanny asked him what the best part of his party was and he responded "the picture we took together." Yes, my sweet child was talking about this photo. It took us all a minute to realize what he was talking about. It brought Josh and I both to tears. Thank you my sweet boy! That was our favorite part too. We love you and are so proud of you! Happy Birthday my big 4 year old!
