We have been Pinterest addicts around here. One of Will and my favorite pastimes before Mia gets up in the morning is to peruse pinterest for cool craft or decorating ideas or a fun recipe. Love that kid! Here is some of what we have done so far:
Pipe cleaners and colanders: makes for an easy but inexpensive way to entertain them while preparing dinner. Will came up with all kinds of creations!
Marble races: Cut a pool noodle in half which we already had and bought a bag of marbles from Hobby Lobby with my 40% coupon. I think they came to $1.80. This entertained them for so long that I was able to sit down and finish my sewing projects below. A few more burp cloths (my favorite baby gift) and pillowcases for Amelia. They started moving the noodles, making bridges, and getting bigger buckets to collect them in. IMAGINATIONS are at work in this house finally! They would take small breaks to do something else but kept going back to the marbles all the way until bedtime with minimal arguing. Thank you Pinterest and all your wonderful ideas! Next up candy corn bark. Yum!
